Resistance Exercising Made Easier
Resistance in the dry land world is not your friend, but in the body of warm and soothing water, resistance is your best source for exercise. The simplest of exercises such as; walking, squatting, bending and stretching are all great forms of exercise when performed in our therapy pool. Because of the greater range of mobility, the buoyancy benefit and the presence of warm water, every single movement in the pool becomes a beneficial exercise. But sometimes a customer needs even more help to strengthen a part of their body - and this is another area where our therapy pool takes the lead.
By taking advantage of the 12 grommets placed at three different levels, inside a ThermaPool, a customer can use the ThermaBand or ThermaCord to work on developing, strengthening or conditioning every single muscle and joint in their body. We are taking the lead on developing these exercises because all the other aquatic therapeutic exercises used today depend on swimming pools that most customers do not have access to.
The ThermaBand or ThermaCord can be used to generate a variety of exercises that allow you to stretch and develop ever single muscle and joint in the body. Simply attaching to one of the twelve different grommets located inside a ThermaPool, a user can perform strengthening exercises from their head down to their toes.
